Purrfect Pawlish The Lovecraft Collection Part 2

Hey there!
Here comes part 2, which is the last part of my swatchmail from Purrfect Pawlish.
I got to review The Lovecraft Collection and it's a big one. If you want to check out the first part, click here
Let's get down to the important stuff, like the polishes shall we?

PIC HEAVY!

First out is Mountain of Madness.
I had some trouble getting the holo effect in the picture, but it's a beautiful silvergrey holo, covers very well in two coats.

Next one out is The Outsider.
A lovely minty almost dusty green, also with that subtle holo.
Two easy peasy coats here!

Third out is Cosmic Fear.
A black holo polish with a lot of beautiful rainbows.
Covers so well with two thin coats.
imagine this as a background to galaxy nails. Right?!

Last one out is The Great Old Ones.
Looks blue in the bottle and in the pictures, but it is actually a dark purple.
This one is definitely my favorite among the holo polishes!
Two thin coats, as with all of the polishes from this collection!

So, my personal favorites is The Great Old Ones and Dagon from part 1.
All of these are released on May 26. Visit Purrfect Pawlish on Facebook or her shop for more info.

Purrfect Pawlish The Lovecraft Collection Part 1

Hello again!
The very sweet Maria from Purrfect Pawlish send me an awesome mail with polishes for review.
It's a big one, so I going to devide it into two parts.

This collection is called The Lovecraft Collection and it's inspired by H.P. Lovecraft (Wikipedia H.P._Lovecraft).
If you guys aren't familiar with him, check out the link to Wikipedia. But basically he wrote gothic/horror novels.

The first one out is Dagon.
Check it out!? Its absolutely gorgeous! I think it looks like the night sky here, but I know that Maria took the inspiration from the novel with the same name, that tells about the ocean and sea living creatures.
Two coats here, but only because I have long nails and there was a slighty VNL.

Next one is Colour out of space.
Lovely purple glitter polish with a bunch of holographic microglitter. Two coats here as well. Nothing wrong with the formula here!

Last one out from Part 1 is The Whisperer.
If you love glassfleck/shimmer polishes, this is your guy! It's not only a shimmer but it shifts from purple to blue in a gorgeous way. Three coats here for opacity.

The whole collection is released on May 26, so if you are interested in any of these polishes, go to Purrfectpawlish on Facebook or her shop.

A Mothers Love - Purrfect Pawlish

The last one from this shipment from Purrfect Pawlish is A Mothers Love.
And it's pretty gorgeous!

A rasberry red polish with discrete holographic effect that covers very well in one coat, but I always put a second coat on, just for good measures.

This polish is released on May 1. If you want more info about Purrfect Pawlish, please visit her Facebookpage or purrfectpawlish.bigcartel.com

Purrfect Pawlish Swedish Duo

Hi again!
I had the pleasure to review Marias aka Purrfect Pawlish collections, and the first one out is called Swedish Duo.
The polishes doesn't have any names yet, but I know that Maria is having a contest this weekend for this purpose!

The first one from the duo is a straight blue creme. I would say that this is a pacific blue? Covers very well in two coats. No funny business with the formula.

The last one from the Swedish duo is kind of a unique glitter polish actually.
Matte yellow glitter in a clear base, with different sizes of sequins.

When I'm painting with glitter polishes, I sometimes notice they would build up on the nail, but you don't get enough glitter on. So here I tried sponging on the glitter on my pointer and longfinger nail and just simply painting as usual on my ringfinger and pinky.

This collection is released on May 1. Visit Purrfect Pawlish on Facebook or her shop to get her polishes right away!
And if you are interested in doing your own polishes, I can let you know that Maria has a lot of suspension bases and empty bottles in her shop for those who want to experiment!

These pictures can also be found on my Instagram @nerdcolours, where I also have an ongoing giveaway for you guys!

Purrfect Pawlish I< 3MyCat collection

Hello again!
Tonight is going to be about Purrfect Pawlish collection I<3MyCat.
Maria at Purrfect Pawlish took her inspiration from her love for cats.
She has a cat named Fräs and I'm told that he is the King ;)
He is white and grey, and you'll see that the polishes are too.

I'll start with Soft and Fluffy.
The name is pretty easy to get, just think of a cat! ;)
Now to the polish. As you can see in the pictures, it's a white and subtle polish with silver shimmer and microholographic sparkles!
I put three coats here, because I didn't want to see any VNL.
I'm going to take a photo in direct sunlight to capture all the gorgeous holo madness as well.

Last polish in this collection is Divine Cat, and it takes you back to ancient Egypt when cats were gods (and they still think they are gods).
The polish is full of silver hexagons in different sizes and purple glitter in shape of a cathead in a clear base.
Here I put it over Soft and Fluffy, and I think it matches very well.
Two coats and topcoat.

If you are interested in buying this collection it is going to be released on March 6, 7 pm Swedish time. You can buy them here purrfectpawlish.bigcartel.com
Thanks again Maria for this big chance and opportunity!

Purrfect Pawlish The king in Yellow collection

I'm back!
And I'm here with great news for you.
Maria at Purrfect Pawlish has chosen me to be her swatcher. Can you imagine how big this is for me? I only hope that I can give her what she wants!

First out is The King in Yellow collection. She has taken inspiration from Robert W Chambers tales (a link to wikipedia about his tales http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_King_in_Yellow).

I'll start with Carcosa. In the stories it is a legendary place, and the polish is rather beautiful!
Its a blueish black polish with blue and silver flakes in it.
In the picture I have two coats and topcoat.

Next one is The Mysterious King. Robert W Chambers talks about it as a mysterious and hard to understand essence, and I can see why.
Its subtle, glowy and full of golden dust, that does it best over a darker polish.
So here I put it over a dark prune color. Can't wait to use it over different colors! It's really glowing!
Only one coat and topcoat.

Here I put it over a light minty blue for a very discrete effect. One coat.

Last one in this collection is The Pale mask, and it says that it's hiding something ethereal.
The polish is pure Sterling Silver in a bottle!
My camera had a hard time getting all that sparkle and gorgeousness!
I put three coats here, because I noticed that some of my nails had rigdes in them and it showed pretty well, so three coats it is! Here it is with topcoat.
I really want to try stamping with this polish, I think it could beat Excalibur from A England.

So if you are interested in buying these polishes, the collection is released on March 6, 7 p.m. and you can buy them here purrfectpawlish.bigcartel.com
I think that my favorite polish is The Mysterious King. I really liked how it glowed, and I want to see how it looks like in the sun. Thanks Purrfect Pawlish and Marie for this great opportunity, and i'm hoping I wont let you down!
